I am a native of Chikiang. I am a carpenter, making

furniture at 19 Man Chung Yong, ground floor. I started

business there on 1 m. 29 d. (5th March) this year. I know

the man next door, Cheung Ka Maxi •

I cannot remember the

date. I was in the 3rd moon (mrah). In the night wh.le

I was working a man came into my shop. He walked with quiak

paces into the rear part of the premises.

He went out

again and walked in again. The last time he ente out

he dropped something white on the ground among the shavings.

1 did not know then what it was.

He left by the front door.

My suspicions were aroumed.ă I picked up this glove from

where he had dropped the white article.

That was not the first time that I had seen that

I id seen that man in my premises. He was dressed in

European style dress, brown colour. He had nothing on his

head, I had seen him before that evening about 2 or 3 times.

I saw Cheung Ka Mau that evening. I showed him the glove.

I dropped it onto the ground again. I know this officer

showed
